You’ll always get a free personal item but now when you book a Go Savvy, Go Comfy, or Go Big option you’ll get a checked bag up to 50lbs and/or a carry-on included. So, whether you pack a lot or a little, your flying experience is sure to be fly.

Personal Item:
All Guests may bring one personal item that fits entirely in the smaller sizer bin (like a purse, small backpack, etc.). You can bring one personal item and items like an umbrella, camera, infant diaper bag, assistive devices, outer garments (e.g., coat, hat and wrap), reading material and food for the flight for no additional charge. Neck and head pillows can be carried on the aircraft as long as they fit completely in your personal item bag.

Dimensions must not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm) including handles and wheels. 

In some cases, wheelchairs, car seats and strollers may be checked at the gate or carried on free of charge. Folding wagons are not considered carry-on items.

Carry-On Bag:
The Go Big and Go Comfy travel options include a carry-on bag (space permitting) that fits in the overhead bin, in addition to a personal item.
For those who purchase the Go Savvy travel option:

  • If you selected a carry-on when booking, it is included.
  • If you selected a checked bag when booking, a carry-on can be added and purchased separately.

The Go travel option does not include a carry-on bag and can’t be purchased separately. If you need to add a carry-on to your flight, you can go to the My Trips page to upgrade your travel option that includes a carry-on bag for your trip.

Maximum of 22 x 18  x 10  inches (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels. We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be stowed safely.


Checked Bags: 
The Go Big and Go Comfy travel options include a checked bag, and additional checked bags can be added and purchased separately (space permitting).
For those who purchase the Go Savvy travel option:

  • If you selected a carry-on when booking, a checked bag can be added and purchased separately.
  • If you selected a checked bag when booking, additional checked bags can be added and purchased separately (space permitting).

The Go travel option, you can add checked bags separately (space permitting beyond the first checked bag).

Before you pack, make sure your bag meets our checked bag size dimensions and weight: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds (22.6 kg) in weight. Any bag that exceeds these dimensions or weight limit is considered oversized/overweight and has a corresponding charge. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bags that weigh more than 100 pounds (45 kg) or that measure more than 80 linear inches (203 cm) in overall dimensions.

View the current bag prices for carry-ons, checked bags, and sporting equipment. All Guests have the ability to have one checked bag; however, some flights have less available space for additional checked bags. Should there be space available, you can check up to 5 checked bags.

Guests traveling to or from international airports may have additional size and weight restrictions for their bags, see below.

  • Certain items (e.g. Sporting Equipment) may exceed 80 linear inches in overall dimensions; however, the item may not weigh more than 100lbs (45kg). This item counts towards the maximum of one (1) checked item allowed per person. Separate charges may apply.
  • From December 1st through January 10th, items that exceed 80 linear inches will not be accepted.
