What type of name change do you have?
Misspelling - If you need a minor correction to a misspelled name (e.g. Feline vs. Filene), you may be eligible for a free name change. Please contact one of our reservations centers at least 7 days prior to initial departure.
Full Passenger Name Change – If you want to change a passenger name on a booking, please contact one of our reservation centers at least 7 days prior to initial departure. For your reference, please view current prices here for these requests.
Legal Name Change – You may fax the written request detailing the name change reason along with supporting documentation to Spirit’s Customer Relations Department at (Fax #) (248) 727-1770.

Please note the following conditions:
$9 Fare Club Membership: If the original booking contains any $9 Fare Club pricing, the new customer will need to purchase a $9 Fare Club membership or be a $9 Fare Club member to be eligible for that pricing.
Travel vouchers: If the original booking was paid using a travel voucher, the voucher will be re-issued to the original customer with the original expiration date, and the voucher amount shall be paid by the new customer. Also, please note that customers cannot pay for a name change using a travel voucher.
Award bookings: Please note that name changes are not available for award bookings.
Travel insurance: Travel insurance is non-transferable through Spirit; the customer must contact Travel Guard.
Vacation Packages: Unfortunately,at this time, name changes cannot be made to Spirit Vacation packages that have already been booked.
